Customers who preorder the Remember Me video game through GameStop will receive an exclusive print comic, featuring an original story and a preview of Dark Horse’s upcoming art book!

As Capcom gears up for the release of what is sure to be one of the year’s most-talked-about video games, Dark Horse is proud to announce its part in furthering the Remember Me story line. The publisher has tapped Matt Kindt (MIND MGMT, 3 Story) to write a special ten-page comic story, with art by Matthew Southworth. In addition, this comic will feature a thirteen-page preview of Dark Horse’s upcoming The Art of Remember Me, which will be released on June 5, the day after the game’s release!

Remember Me is a third-person action-adventure game set in Neo-Paris, 2084, where players take on the role of Nilin, a former elite Memory Hunter with the ability to break into people’s minds and steal or even alter their memories. The authorities, fearful of her knowledge and capabilities, have arrested Nilin and wiped her memory clean. After her escape from prison, Nilin sets out on a mission to recover her identity. During the course of the story, Nilin will start remembering who she was and relearning all the fighting moves that made her one of the world’s leading Memory Hunters.

In the exclusive print comic, Nilin’s undercover mission at a high-society party is compromised when her target is assassinated. Now she has to manipulate the crowd’s memories to avoid being framed for the murder. Who better to write this tale of “mind management” than Eisner Award nominee Matt Kindt!
