While we have heard from many of you that our iOS app is operating better than ever, we are also aware that the most recent update has caused minor frustrations for a number of users. We apologize for the inconvenience and want to take this opportunity to address the situation.

First, know that help is on the way. An update is already in review with Apple. Apple is closed for developers from 12/21 to 12/28. We are hopeful that the update will be released the week of December 30 and will resolve the outstanding issues. Until then, here are some troubleshooting tips.

Downloaded books are "missing" after upgrading the app.

Rest assured that all your purchases are backed up in the cloud! If you had comics downloaded to your device that don't appear after upgrading, please follow these steps to restore them:

1. Reset data from the settings screen: menu > settings > reset data
2. Choose "Keep Books" when prompted
3. Force quit the app by double tapping your device's home button, selecting the app, and swiping the screenshot upward
4. Restart the app and wait for the sync to finish

Most users have found that this restores the missing downloads. If it doesn't you will unfortunately have to download the issues again.

Not all purchased comics are appearing in the app's collection tab.

Be sure you are signed in to the app and then try these steps until your collection appears:

1. Sync the app (from settings menu)
2. Force quit from the dock and restart the app
3. Reset data (menu>settings>reset data)
4. Restore purchases (menu>restore purchases). This binds any purchases made on that device and billed to your iTunes account to your Dark Horse account
5. Last resort: delete and reinstall the app from the App Store
