Celebrating Women in Comics: Jenny Frison

NAME:
Jenny Frison

A SENTENCE ABOUT WHAT COMICS-RELATED WORK YOU DO AND/OR ARE KNOWN FOR:
Cover artist for "Revival" (Image), "Ghost" (Dark Horse), "Red Sonja" and "Vampirella" (Dynamite), etc.

What are your favorite working tools?
I actually still have the same Prismacolor Turquoise lead holder I bought in college and I use it every day. Also, I really like neutral grey Copic sketch markers.

What talent would you most like to have?
Faster reflexes . . . Is that a talent or an ability? Honestly, I wish I was better at drawing.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
That I've managed to have a career in the comic book industry. There was a time I thought that was just a pipe dream.

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?
The Bighorn Mountains.

What is it that you most dislike?
Water chestnuts and liars.

Who are your heroes (fiction or non)?
Definitely my parents and my sister. They are beyond amazing. I'm also rather in awe of my studio mates: Tim Seeley, Mike Norton, Sean Dove, and Josh Emmons. Steve Seeley is pretty great, too.
