Serenity: Leaves on the Wind #6 Review Roundup

Mal’s plan B—a plan he didn’t like when he made it—has gone into action, and the Serenity has come out of hiding. With his crew, one victim, and a hostage, Mal is ready to fight the Alliance head on—but first, they are going to rescue Zoe, no matter what!

"Proof that theres life in this old girl yet, the series as a whole has been absolutely wonderful, even if this particular issue – by its very nature of wrapping up everything thats happened, and setting up a new status quo – isnt quite as good as its predecessor. Still, it leaves you wanting more, and thats very much to its credit, and its not enough to dock it any points. And then theres the final panel – you can practically hear David Newmans score from the film playing over it, and if ever there was a better one to end a comic on, Ive not come across it yet. A ship, a leaf, a breeze, and we watched them all soar rather high indeed." - Big Comic Page
"Serenity: Leaves on The Wind #6 was the end that this mini-series deserved. Ended on a heartwarming note while also leaving room for another story which can take place afterwards. We all know the story is far from done for the Serenity crew and that last panel was a good way of keeping us interested in what will happen next. This is definitely a part of their story you don't want to miss if you want to know the direction their lives are taking because they are in every sense of the phrase “Leaves on The Wind”." - Geeked Out Nation
"Serenity: Leaves on the Wind has been a phenomenal series and a must have for any Firefly fan. The way that the creative team has followed on from the film as well as develop new concepts makes it one of the best continuation series I've ever read. Highly recommended." - Unleash the Fanboy
"It was also a bit of a letdown that Mal's speech from the prior issue about finally taking a stand didn't really pan out. Maybe they're saving that for another miniseries"and considering how great this one was, that would be just fine with me." -Adventures In Poor Taste
"While I didn't like the cliffhanger ending, I really enjoyed the final issue of this miniseries" - Comic Book Therapy
"I think that Georges Jeanty is becoming one of my favorite illustrators; I am always thoroughly impressed with how he captures facial expressions and creates this beautiful world that is Serenity. Laura Martin also does the coloring for this series which I definitely appreciate as it just adds to the whole galactic feel." - Comic Bastards
