“If you have young kids and want to give them something that they’ll probably enjoy and will draw their attention for a while, then this is most definitely the book for you/them.” - Big Comic Page
"Baltazar and Franco's take is spot on though in just having a blast with the concept since we get new characters all around a family friendly approach that still plays to the core idea of the concept and the kind of style that this pairing embodies in so many of their works. It's a great come back for a character that has been away for far too long.” - The Fandom Post

"This is an issue for all ages. It’s funny, it’s loopy, it’s a great way to get your kids into comics and introduce them to “The Mask.” It’s easy for kids to pick up if they want to read it on their own and makes for a good bedtime story. It’s definitely a good addition to the few titles of children’s comics that are out now. It’s fun and it reminds us of how awesome of a character the Mask was and still is. It’s something we need more of in comics, unpredictable insanity.” - Nuke the Fridge
