The Serenity crew has more work to do! 

Dark Horse is excited to announce the newest Serenity series, Serenity: No Power in the ’Verse. Originally created by the legendary Joss Whedon, Serenitybegins its next chapter with a story written by Chris Roberson and illustrated by Georges Jeanty (Buffy Seasons 8 and 9, Serenity: Leaves on the Wind). No Power in the ’Verse’s first issue (of six) goes on sale October 26, 2016.

Buffy has to save the world, again. 

Dark Horse announced season 11 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Christos Gage and Rebekah Isaacs return to tell more stories of the Scoobies shenanigans. Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 11 will have twelve issues total. The first issue goes on sale November 23, 2016.

Spell on Wheels has the power 

Dark Horse is proud to announce a new original comic series, Spell on Wheels, written by Kate Leth with illustrations by Megan Levens, coloring by Marissa Louise, and a beautiful cover created by Ming Doyle. The first issue of Spell on Wheels: Night of the Wand goes on sale October 19, 2016, with four subsequent issues published monthly.

Dead Inside offers fresh perspetive on crime genre

Dark Horse Comics is set to release Dead Inside, a brand-new creator-owned series from acclaimed writer John Arcudi and up-and-coming artist Toni Fejzula. Dead Inside #1 (of 5) is in stores December 21, 2016.

Fresh Chimichanga coming soon!

Chimichanga lovers will have another book to consume this year! The legendary creative duo of Eric Powell and Stephanie Buscema  will bring fans more Lula and Chimichanga adventures. The first issue of The Sorrow of the World’s Worst Face goes on sale October 12, 2016, with the three subsequent issues published monthly.

Soupy comes to Dark Horse 

Soupy Leaves Home, written by Eisner nominee Cecil Castellucci. follows Pearl “Soupy” Plankette, a young girl who runs away from home to escape her abusive father and an unhappy future. Soupy Leaves Home goes on sale April 19, 2017.

Neil Gaiman's Forbidden Brides walks down the aisle at Dark Horse 

Neil Gaiman has returned to his darkly complicated Forbidden Brides tale. Originally published as a short story in Neil Gaiman’s Fragile Things, Shane Oakley adapted Forbidden Brides into a stunning graphic novel. Forbidden Brides goes on sale February 7, 2017.


Henchgirl trade coming soon! 

Dark Horse will publish a trade collection of Henchgirl. Henchgirl is a unique series (originally from Scout Comics) that subverts the typical superhero trope by telling the story from the perspective of a villain. The Henchgirl trade goes on sale March 29, 2017.

World of Warcraft Chronicle Volume 2 to be released

World of Warcraft Chronicle Vol. 2 will further explore the history and makeup of this rich fantasy universe. The hardcover volume goes on sale March 14, 2017.

Dark Horse slays with new series from the legendary metal band

Dark Horse Comics and thrash/punk titans Slayer have joined forces to deliver a new comic series. With full participation from the band and taking inspiration from Slayer’s recent Repentless music videos, disciple Jon Schnepp  will pen the 3-issue comic series with interior bloodlines drawn by Guiu Vilanova. Glenn Fabry’s covers reign in blood while Antichrist Eric Powell will illustrate the variant cover for the first issue. Slayer: Repentless #1 (of three) is on comic stands December 2016

Inspired by Call of Duty: Black Ops III, The Call of Duty ®: Zombies comic Series uncovers hidden secrets from within the zombies timeline! Call of Duty: Zombies #1(of six) is on comic stands October 19, 2016!


Dark Horse Comics and Blizzard Entertainment team up for new Overwatch graphic novel and art book. 

Dark Horse will publish a 100-page Overwatch graphic novel in April 2017. Dark Horse will follow up that release with The Art of Overwatch, an oversized hardcover featuring previously unseen concept art and illustrations. This book will be released in Summer 2017.

Matt Kindt and David Rubin explore what happens when magic and science intersect. The first issue of Ether goes on sale November 16, 2016, with four subsequent issues published monthly.

Dark Horse to publish original graphic novel Muhammad Ali.

Dark Horse Comics is set to release Muhammad Ali, the story of an icon in a graphic novel from writer Sybille Titeux and artist Amazing Ameziane. This novel was translated from French to English. Muhammad Ali debuts on October 26, 2016.


Buffy the Vampire Slayer gets adult coloring book treatment

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer Adult Coloring Book will give Whedonites 45 pages of original illustrations that encompass the entire series. The book goes on sale December 28, 2016.

The Star Trek coloring books (Star Trek: The Original Series Adult Coloring Book and Star Trek: The Next Generation Adult Coloring Book) are designed to become instant favorites for fans both young and old of the classic television series. The coloring books go on sale October 19, 2016.
