Manga Monday: Danganronpa: The Animation Vol. 3

This is a good week for Danganronpa fans! Our friends at NIS America who release the Danganronpa game in English (and who also release the original Cardcaptor Sakura anime TV series that CLAMP’s manga inspired) have announced that the new game Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will be out in North America and Europe in 2017. But there’s another Danganronpa “V3” you can get right now—namely, vol. 3 of the manga based on the original Danganronpa story, Danganronpa: The Animation vol. 3, hitting stores just in time for Christmas!
They say bears go hibernate in winter, but it’s not quite bedtime yet for Monokuma, the two-toned ursine nemesis of the Danganronpa series…and as you can see, he has a very special present for all the boys and girls trapped in Hope’s Peak Academy—the refutation bullet! That’s what Danganronpa means, after all, and in the story it signifies that somebody’s testimony about the murder of a fellow classmate has just been shot full of holes. But Monokuma, of course, already knows who’s been naughty and nice…the trick is the surviving students figuring it out…before they too get executed!
