"The Butcher of Paris" Available in December 2019

On May 25, 1946, Marcel Petiot, dubbed the Butcher of Paris, was executed for his numerous horrific crimes. In Butcher of Paris, writer Stephanie Phillips (Descendent, Devil Within), artist Dean Kotz (Mars Attacks), colorist Jason Wordie (Penny Dreadful, Johnny Red), and letterer Troy Peteri (Witchblade, The Darkness) delve into the historical, true-crime thriller about a killer wanted by both the Nazis and Allied Forces for the death of nearly two-hundred victims. The Butcher of Paris series features covers by artist Dave Johnson.

In 1944, as Swastikas flew over Paris, one of the most notorious serial killers in history turned the occupied city into his personal hunting ground. Under the guise of opportunity and freedom, Marcel Petiot preys on those desperate to flee . . . until a gruesome discovery alerts the police. In a city under siege, the hunt for a serial killer begins as a French detective races to bring the heinous villain to justice before the Nazis beat him to it.

The Butcher of Paris #1 (of five) goes on sale December 4, 2019, and is available for pre-order at local comic shops.
