If you're like... well, everyone, stuck at home, and bingeing everything you can on Netflix, you've probably just finished watching The Legend of Korra animated series. And like everyone who has watched this beloved series, you're probably wondering what happened after the last episode. Well, you've come to the right place!

Picking up right where the animated series left off, Turf Wars delves into Korra and Asami's romantic vacation in the Spirit World, coming out to Korra’s parents, and returning to Republic City—and all the chaos that has ensued in their absence. Not only will they have to navigate their new relationship, they'll also have to resolve the spirit-human political landscape that has taken over the city... not to mention dealing with the triads and a fierce new villain. Written by series co-creator Michael Dante DiMartino, illustrated by the extremely talented Irene Koh, colored by the inimitable Killian Ng, and with covers by fandom-favorite artist Heather Campbell, this sequel comics series is a must-have if you love the show.

Another loose thread from the animated series is the fate of Book Four's big bad, Kuvira. In Ruins of the Empire, the disgraced Great Uniter goes on trial and is sent to prison. Meanwhile, King Wu gets a very shaky start at moving the Earth Kingdom toward democracy... and that precarious balance topples when a general from the fallen empire makes a terrifying return. The only way to take him down? Springing Kuvira from prison. Korra must team up with her former nemesis, as well as an old friend, to save the Earth Kingdom's burgeoning democratic process. Incomparable artist Michelle Wong joins returning creative team members Michael Dante DiMartino and Killian Ng in this series—now available as a beautiful, oversized hardcover edition for the discerning collector!

Check out the timeline below for a great recap of both series. Happy reading!
