Dark Horse Presents: "Radio Ga Ga"!

“Radio Ga Ga” is the newest and zaniest story to come to the pages of the Dark Horse Presents anthology.

Written by Chad Lambert and drawn by Apriyadi Kusbiantoro, “Radio Ga Ga” is the story of a young man with a dream who gets mistaken for an assassin. People think radio personalities are crazy, but sometimes it’s the listeners who are truly flippin’ nuts. Especially when they can get you arrested by the Secret Service!

ON SALE THIS WEEK IN REVIEWS

Angel and Faith #8

"Gage’s script is awesome (as usual), but this issue really lets Isaacs shine. This is an issue full of pathos, and Gage’s script is elevated by the amazing emotions that Isaacs brings to Angel, Faith, and her father. Emotional beats are hard enough to craft, but Issacs soars in the pages ofAngel & Faith #8, allowing the reader to actually see the inner feelings of the characters play out across their faces from panel to panel." - Fanboy Comics

"The art is fantastic, Faith’s pain really comes across to the reader. I loved the Harmony issue, but this one is by far the best yet, I really hope that this series continues with the complexity that is featured in this issue." - Bamfas

B.P.R.D. Hell on Earth: The Pickens County Horror #1

"B.P.R.D. Hell On Earth: The Pickens County Horror" #1 is a fantastic little horror ditty. Although this issue is all set up, the conclusion comes right in the next installment with the promise of a weirder and better plot. It's not often a book can top itself with the second issue, but these short form tales from Dark Horse give us the entire set up and everything else in #1, allowing #2 to run wild and bring everything together with a crash. If the first issue is any indication, I'll be more than happy to sit down with the finale next month." - Comic Book Resources

"The Pickens County Horror is a good read for anyone who wants a good horror comic, whether you are familiar with the world of Hellboy or not. Big Red is mentioned once and what’s going on in the rest of the world is present on the margins, but pretty much everything that occurs in the story is independent of outside knowledge. That is why I do not hesitate to recommend this issue to fans looking to dip their toe into the waters of the Mignolaverse but who don’t know where to start." - Major Spoilers

King Conan: The Phoenix on the Sword #3

"THIS is Dark Horse’s Conan comic for people who love Conan. It’s got everything that hardcore fans want and love about the barbarian that we all know and love. So, while you can enjoy Conan the Barbarian on a totally different level, it’s nice to know that you can grab something familiar withKing Conan: The Phoenix & The Sword. And that it delivers in spades!" - Geeks of Doom

"This third issue is still build-up; the real action won't come until the climax in the final issue. But there is enough here to keep me hooked and wishing that the story didn't end with the final flipped page. King Conan: The Phoenix on the Sword is a comic that is really going to read better as a trade, and I know several readers are stockpiling the issues to read them all together. Personally I don't have that much patience for a series this good." - Comics Bulletin
