The very last issue of Orchid hits shelves next Wednesday, January 30th and we want to make sure everyone understands the magnitude of awesome that is coming to a close. Over the last year and a few months Tom Morello's fun Sci-Fi adventure and entertaining discussion of class warfare has been enjoyed by thousands.

Issue #3 tells the tale of General China's defeat at the hands of the tyrannical dictator Tomo Wolfe, so a focus on the late revolutionary leader was a logical route to go with this cover. As China's mask is a symbol of the Shadow Rebels struggle and an emblem of their revolution, not to mention an important piece of the entire Orchid puzzle, it became the focus of the cover.

After the tough task of putting together a first-issue cover that not only established our heroine but the entire world of a brand-new comic—a new comic that’s a sprawling fantasy/sci-fi epic, no less—issue #2’s cover came together quite easily in comparison.
