At this year’s ComicsPRO annual meeting, Dark Horse listened directly to retailer feedback on how to spark interest in monthly series, in hopes of bringing in new and lapsed readers. In June, Dark Horse begins the Starting Points program, a new way to dive into great ongoing series!

Retailers around the country are sold out of the critically acclaimed first issue of Hellboy in Hell. In response, Dark Horse is reprinting the acclaimed first issue. The reprint is available for reorder now, with an on-sale date of January 30, just 1 week before Hellboy in Hell #3 goes on sale.

Dark Horse is, was, and always will be a company whose roots are in the comic shops. Over 30 years ago, Dark Horse president Mike Richardson quit a steady job in the face of fatherhood to pursue a dream in retail. Like every comic shop owner, he wanted to sell what he loved, not what necessarily promised profits.
