Robert Schwentke, director of "The Time Traveller's Wife" and "Flightplan" has signed on to direct Dark Horse's live-action R.I.P.D. film adaptation.  R.I.P.D. follows the members of the Rest in Peace Department, a team of deceased "divine law enforcement" officers in their battle against evil. Published in 2000, R.I.P.D. was written by Peter Lenkov with art by Lucas Marangon.  Filming is expected to start Spring 2011 and stars Ryan Reynolds in the lea role.  ... Read more...
