Amanda Ripley and Zula Hendricks return in "Aliens: Rescue"
There's a new mission in the Aliens universe as Alec Brand is forced to confront the fallout of Aliens: Resistance. Writer Brian Wood (Aliens: Resistance, Briggs Land) is back, along with artist Kieran McKeown (Halo: Lone Wolf, White Canvas), inker JL Straw (Halo: Lone Wolf, Back to the Future), colorist Dan Jackson (Halo: Lone Wolf, Aliens: Resistance), and letterer Nate Piekos (Aliens: Resistance, Fight Club 3) to bring us the next terrifying chapter in Amanda Ripley's story.
Aliens: Rescue follows Alec Brand, the rescued colonist now turned Colonial Marine, as he embarks on a secret mission with Amanda Ripley and Zula Hendricks. Following the events of Aliens: Resistance, Alec's mission brings him back to the Alien-infested moon he was rescued from, forcing him to confront his haunting past.
Dark Horse Comics and Aliens have shared a long history of storytelling excellence together. Aliens: Rescue is the next step in this decades long partnership, expanding the Aliens story into unexplored corners of the universe.
Aliens: Rescue #1 (of four) goes on sale May 22, 2019, and is available for pre-order at your local comic shop. Catch up on the story so far by checking out Aliens: Resistance, on sale now at your local comic shop, and Aliens: Defiance Volumes 1 & 2 TPB on sale through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, TFAW, and your local comic shop.
Praise for Aliens: Defiance:
"It's a stellar sci-fi horror comic in its own right, and it's a hell of an Aliens one, too. I'm excited for where Hendricks and Davis are headed even if they have no right to be."–Comics: The Gathering
"This is how to celebrate a 30th anniversary. This is beautifully frightening: a love letter to fans that will make their chests explode in joy. Recommended."–SciFiPulse
"Wood and Jones have crafted an impressively strong opening chapter for this latest Dark Horse Aliens series...the strength of the lead character and the crisp, confident execution of both the storyline and the artwork make this an absolutely essential purchase for fans of the franchise, or simply for fans of science-fiction horror in general. Bring on issue two! Oorah!" –Big Comic Page
